Havana Beach sits right on the bay at Playa del Cristo, the sheltered cove on the western edge of Estepona.

This is the calmest water in town. The cove is closed off from the wind, so when the sea is choppy on the long beaches down the coast, here it stays flat, and it holds its warmth well into the autumn. That is why the same families come back to this one year after year.

Tables sit on the sand a few steps from the water, with trees behind them for shade in the middle of the day and the sun dropping over the bay in the evening. Regulars will tell you it is the best chiringuito on this beach, and the marina and the fishing port are a five minute walk away if you want to carry the evening on somewhere else.
