H10 Conquistador

5

Sandy Beach

Located directly on the vibrant beachfront promenade of Playa de las Américas, the H10 Conquistador is a fascinating blend of 1980s iconic architecture and ultra-modern, maritime-inspired luxury. While its "monstrous" concrete exterior is a famous landmark of the Tenerife coastline, stepping inside reveals a surprisingly bright, chic sanctuary filled with Scandinavian-style design and airy, open spaces.

What truly sets this hotel apart is its gastronomic variety. Beyond the standard buffet, you can travel the world through its themed restaurants: from the theatrical Sakura Teppanyaki to the immersive Senses Dinner Show, which pairs a five-course gourmet menu with live performances. For those seeking relaxation, the Despacio Thalasso Centre uses treated seawater for its therapeutic circuits, while the heated adults-only infinity pool offers a serene escape from the family-friendly lagoon.

Interesting Fact: The hotel is so beloved for its warm service and "home-away-from-home" feel that it’s a popular long-term retreat for international guests. It’s not uncommon to meet travelers who stay for several months at a time, finding it more cost-effective (and certainly sunnier) to winter here than to heat their homes back in Northern Europe!

Whether you’re there for the "Golden Mile" shopping just steps away or the world-class surfing nearby, the H10 Conquistador remains one of Tenerife’s most enduring and versatile escapes.

We spent our second big family at H10 Conquistador and we really enjoyed our time. The hotel is perfectly located right at the beach in a calm area of playa de las americas - so even with open windows it was very quiet and night. The other guests are mostly elderly or young families like us, very pleasant crowd, no wild party animals. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The food (we had booked half board) is presented very nicely and tastes great. The pool area is large, there are enough beach chairs for everyone and there is a nice bar where you can sit or purchase drinks or little snacks. Some remarks for possible improvement: There is no shade for the kids pool - maybe a large sun umbrella could be installed. Concerning the food: There are very few options for vegans/vegetarians. Maybe add oat milk, hummus or other vegan spreads for breakfast. And for dinner: why not add a vegan sauce for pasta (not tomato sauce) or a curry or some other vegan dish? The hotel is advertising about being eco-friendly- so offering more plant based options would be a perfect addition to this topic. And another comment on the buffet: declaring allergens/ main ingredients would also be helpful - not just for people following a certain diet. Last but not least we would thank the staff that always was very helpful, friendly, warm and welcoming! We would love to come back for a third time 😊

We paid for half board with the privilege and would recommend to others! The lounge was great, unlimited drinks and snacks and the terrace was lovely and quiet. Great selection and seems to be the way forward in hotels these days, this is the second hotel with this option we’ve stayed and provides a great alternative to all inclusive if you would rather other options. Our room was great, sea view on the privilege floor. It was my birthday while staying and a bottle on ice was delivered to the room which was a great touch! Staff were attentive and friendly, couldn’t fault our stay! Location was great, sea view and access to the sea front via the hotel pool. Thank you!

Amazing Stay. Hotel is spotless. Food Excellent no complaints, and the Japanese restaurant was a great experience. Rooms were clean and tidy and cleaned daily. Staff were amazing and everyone was friendly and could not do enough for you. Bars were great with the best cocktails we have ever had in an all inclusive hotel with premium spirits included. Animation team were friendly and fun. We would recommend anyone to stay here and we will defiantly return.

This hotel is in a perfect location within playa de americas. Within its compound is an oasis of relaxation and luxury. The food was excellent and there was always plenty for the hotel guests. The rooms have been recently refurbished and modernised and the swimming pool deck chairs were ample. The animation team were really energetic and got the crowd excited with the activities i.e foam party. Will be back here.

Playa de las Américas is a well known place to go on vacation. It is on the coast of Tenerife. People like to go to Playa de las Américas because it's so much fun. The beach has golden sand and sometimes the sand is grey because of the volcano. The water, at Playa de las Américas is very clear and nice to swim in. Playa de las Américas has an atmosphere and that is why people like to visit Playa de las Américas.
