Pebbles beach

Maui Beach Club sits directly on the beach in Mojácar, on the Almería coast, and runs from daytime lounging through to a DJ set after dark. Sunbeds and Balinese beds are laid out facing the sea, and reserved areas can be taken for a group for the afternoon or the evening, with drinks included in the booking.

The menu offers a broad seafood selection, paella, calamari and tuna sandwiches. The bar mixes cocktails as the music builds through the evening.

Tables and beds look straight out over the water, and the shift from a quiet lunch to a livelier night happens without anyone having to move.

Playa de Mojácar

Playa de Mojácar is a long stretch of coastline on the Costa de Almería, with plenty of space to spread out along the sand. A seafront promenade runs beside the beach, good for a long walk along the water's edge, and lifeguards are on duty in season. The water is clear, with a few natural rocky patches along the shore.

Bars, restaurants and chiringuitos line the seafront, so a morning of sunbathing turns easily into lunch or a cold drink by the sea. The area is lively without feeling crowded, with a laid-back coastal feel.

Behind the beach, the white village of Mojácar Pueblo sits high on the hill, with narrow, winding streets and a history shaped by its Moorish past. From its terraces you can look down over the coastline and the sea.
