La Ponderosa Playa is a family-run restaurant and chiringuito on the beach in Fuengirola, on the Costa del Sol, set right beside the sea. It describes itself as a family business with a maritime tradition, and the kitchen focuses on fresh shellfish, rice dishes and fish, from grilled sole to arroz a banda and arroz negro.

On the sand, the chiringuito rents its own sunbeds with terrace service and offers Balinese beds for a full beach day with food and bar service.
