Yes, what can I say? This hotel has many good qualities, BUT, unfortunately there are things that drag down the overall impression. The positives first: The staff work hard, and (with the exception of a few) are very friendly. Especially Sari in the main bar👍😁 The food is some of the better we have had at All inclusive. Indoor entertainment and dancing👍. Location in a quiet neighboring area without hordes of tourists👍 Some nice walks up the mountain within reasonable walking distance ( about 5 km. to start) The negatives: Small cockroaches in the dining room, even on the food 🤢. Small Cockroaches/Beetles around the pool edges. The food being served/stored is TOO COLD!!! Food should be kept piping hot. This prevents the growth of bacteria, which thrives best between 10-50 C. Unfortunately, I also got food poisoning. Lots of pigeons (which unfortunately some guests feed👎) around the pool tables where you eat. Very poor soundproofing between the rooms. Very cramped and overcrowded around the pools, long queues of people who are going to grab a sunbed every morning. And keep all day even when they are not present 👎 The animation team works hard, but isn't it starting to get a bit outdated that everyone "has" to clap at the same time, raise their arms on command, etc.? For us, a good band playing good dance music would have been more than enough ;-) The red wine was ice cold at dinner👎 If you're going to this hotel, it's recommended to bring (h)ear protection, if you don't like your neighbor's snoring. And beware of some loud Englishmen who give a hoot in the bathroom/hand hygiene, or "No smoking" signs.

**Hidden Gem of a Hotel** My wife and I visited this hotel in January 2026, we found it to be the friendliest hotel we have ever visited, the staff were also really friendly and helpful and the animation team kept us entertained all day with games sport etc. The beds were very comfortable and the cleaner made our beds and cleaned our room every day. The food was very nice with plenty of choice and drinks were nice. The hotel has been previously described as tired but the positive aspects more than outweigh the negatives. We have already booked to return to this hotel in a few months and many of the people we met had visited this hotel on multiple occasions.

My husband & I stayed here for a weeks holiday from 31/01/2026 to 07/02/2026 & all I can say is fantastic!! We weren't expecting much for what we paid but boy were we surprised!! The rooms are clearly not 4* but a good 3* however everything else about the hotel is definitely a 4*. The staff are lovely, friendly & very helpful, the food is exquisite!! My husband & I are vegans & we always found something very tasty to eat, the salads are especially tasty! The shows we saw were very good especially the Elvis Presley tribute...he was amazing!!! We are hoping to return very soon because we thoroughly enjoyed our fantastic week in the sun, thank you Catalonia Punta Del Rey, we hope to see you all again very soon😘

Hotel is very nice, we got renovated room with nice view. Everybody was really friendly, the food was also really good. Everyday something different, pretty good choice. Room is pretty quiet, clean, also the pool, we found always place to stay. Just drinks could be better, the taste even of the soft drinks is terrible. Just one more thing that could be improved - many pigeons around the pool. But we can still recommend this hotel. Especially the price ratio during Christmas was really good.

A beautiful get get away with hubby and daughter for her birthday celebration, warm welcome and check-in, facilities were good and everyone was very friendly. Drinks were good and the food was superb. The area was quite but good for a long stroll along the promenade. Quick transfer from the airport. A few good shows and a disco in the basement...!! 😎
