My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Barcelo Santa Cruz and experience the February carnival. The hotel was perfect in customer experience and location, which includes a lovely roof pool with stunning views.Next to the hotel is a beautiful park for chilling out and plenty of bar/restaurants nearby. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel, completely renovated (very well) and located not far from the city center. It's next to a beautiful city park. The room and bathroom are truly beautiful and functional. I'll stay here again, perhaps outside of the Carnival period, just so I don't pay as much as I did this year.

The hotel has just been renovated and offers excellent value for money. The lobby and restaurant are very attractive. The location is superb, easily accessible by car (no parking at the hotel, but several paid parking lots are available nearby). A splendid botanical garden is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel. A great base for exploring the island and also for easily walking to the many restaurants and bars that Santa Cruz has to offer.
