Sandy Beach

Playa de Santa Ana is an urban beach in Benalmádena, set between Playa Bil Bil and Playa Malapesquera near Cabo Busto on the Costa del Sol. The fine, dark sand and generally calm waters sit alongside a well-kept seafront promenade lined with shops and seafood restaurants.

The beach has held Blue Flag status since 2019 and is equipped with lifeguard cover, showers, public toilets and adapted access for visitors with reduced mobility, along with sunbed and umbrella rental. It was once part of a working fishing area, a history that still shapes the seafood-focused chiringuitos found along the shore.

Puerto Deportivo de Benalmádena, Parque de la Paloma and the Castillo de Colomares all lie within a couple of kilometres, making the beach an easy stop alongside other local landmarks.
